We only accept orders securely online via our website. Sorry we do not accept orders via email or over the telephone. 

ALL items listed on the site are in stock unless it specifically says otherwise with a due date for more. 

Credit Card Payment
Secure Credit Card (SCC): This is the standard method of ordering on the Internet and the default payment method on our website. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards only. We do not accept American Express or other credit cards, sorry.  


Credit Card payment provides for the most rapid dispatch of orders. Simply browse our products, add what you like to your shopping cart and then proceed to checkout. Please follow the checkout instructions and your credit card approval will occur in real time. Once approved, your product will ship the same day M-F if your order is received by 5:00 PM and the products are in stock. If for any reason we do not have the item currently in stock, the site will reflect this, along with the expected due date for new stock arrival.

Credit Card Fraud Prevention 
Some select high value (and/or high fraud) items may only be ordered/paid for via direct credit. This is to help eliminate credit card fraud on these items. These few items are clearly labeled on the website and if one of these items is in your shopping cart when you checkout, only these 2 payment options will be presented to you. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are a previous credit card customer of ours and wish to purchase one of these items via credit card, please contact us and we may allow this at our discretion. 

We take credit card fraud very seriously, and prosecute credit card fraud to the fullest extent of the law. For international orders, this includes notifying the authorities of the country where the credit card was issued and the country where the order was to be shipped. For our own protection as well as the protection of our customers we implement several techniques to screen for credit card fraud. 

Occasionally orders may be marked as questionable by our very strict fraud screening system. In many cases when this happens, we may request that the customer email us a scanned copy of their photo identification and of the credit card that they used to make the purchase. This proves to us that the purchaser has the card in their possession, and considerably reduces the chances that the transaction is fraudulent. 

With international orders, the percentage of orders marked as questionable by our screening system is much higher than with domestic orders. This is because it is common that we will not be able to match any information, such as your address or the card security code, with the card issuing bank. Please do not become offended if you receive the email mentioned above. This is a common practice and it is in place for your protection as well as ours.

Payment via Direct Credit/Internet Banking/Branch Deposit
If you wish to pay via Direct Credit/Internet Banking or Branch Deposit, you may do so. Simply order through our online store as per normal and then select this payment method at checkout time. You will be issued an order ID number and automatically emailed instructions how to make payment for your order, including bank details. Since you are automatically emailed a link to your online invoice after placing your order, this invoice can act as a 'Pro-Forma' Invoice for you if your accounts payable department requires one to make payment from.

Your order will ship as soon as we can confirm your payment. This is usually within 24 hours, unless you bank with ANZ in which case the payment may show the same day. If you misplace your order confirmation email/payment instructions, our bank details again are:

Other Payment Methods
For all methods of payment other than Credit Card, Direct Credit, please email us and we will advise you of the process specific to your requirements. Please be aware that Flashcards does not ship based on PO Numbers nor do we offer credit of any kind. All orders must be paid for in advance of shipment.

A hyperlink to your online invoice (with GST Number) will be included in your original order confirmation email. You may print it from that web page if you need it, as we do not send print invoices of any kind. You will need to log on to view and print your online invoices. In the case of Direct Credit Orders, this invoice can be printed and submitted to your Accounts Payable Department for payment if required. You may also log into the website and review your order history at any time and print previous invoices from there at your convenience. 

Shipping Information

Flashcards have one of the simplest and cheapest shipping policies in our industry. We use respected NZ courier companies for our delivery and we 'Next Day' courier all goods straight to your door Mon-Fri. For security reasons and insurance coverage, we ship all parcels via Signature Required Track and Trace Packs ONLY, so the Courier will not leave your parcel (no exceptions). However, they will leave a card to call if you are not in when your parcel arrives. 

Once your order ships, you will automatically receive an email with your Track and Trace number in it, should you need to follow it up with courier company for any reason. We do NOT offer an optional non-signature required delivery service. 

Nationwide shipping is FREE for all orders $100.00 and over (including to PO Box and Rural RD Addresses). NZ orders under $100 will have $6 shipping added to them (NO extra charge for RD Addresses) and International orders will have shipping and processing fees added to them at checkout time. We do not have a retail store or allow pickups of any kind. 

Typically, if your order is received by 5:00 PM, your order will ship out from us the same day. If your order is received after 5:00 PM, or is to a Rural Delivery (RD) address it will arrive within 2 working days. In the rare event we run out of stock by the time your order is processed, we will notify you via email as to your options.

Please note that various warehouses are unable to ship to a PO Box, in which case we will contact you to ask for a physical address.

International Orders
For international orders, international shipping times and fees apply, plus we charge a NZ$15 Processing fee for International Orders (this fee is automatically added at checkout time). We must charge this fee due to new additional security processing requirements for International parcels. We must also hand deliver International Parcels to a NZ Post Depot as they cannot be combined with our normal outbound shipments.

Please note: **NZ Post will NOT deliver to International P.O. Boxes so International customers must supply a physical address for their deliveries. is not responsible for any duties, taxes or charges imposed and/or enforced by destination countries.
